Privacy

The short version

There are no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies. The only personal information you can give draftdrill is an email address, if you choose to add one to a problem report.

Problem reports

When you report a problem, the site sends what you wrote: the kind of problem, the exercise, your message, the language of the page, and your email address if you added one. It goes to a Google Form that only the builder can read, and is used only to fix the problem and to reply to you. Reports are deleted within 12 months.

The email address is optional, and the report sends without it. If you are under 18, leave it blank unless a parent or guardian agrees.

If you use the Google Form link instead, you are on Google's own site, under Google's privacy policy.

Your drawings

When you ask for your drawing or model to be marked, it is sent to the site, marked, and thrown away. It is never stored.

Visits

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare states that it uses no cookies or local storage for this, and does not identify visitors by their IP address, browser or anything else. It counts pages, not people.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which receives every request, including your IP address, to deliver the page. The request logs the builder can see are kept for one hour. To stop the site being flooded, your IP address is also held briefly in the server's memory, and is never written down.

What stays in your browser

If you use the EN | BM switch, the site sets one cookie, draftdrill-lang, which remembers your language for one year. Your paper, theme and dismissed-announcement choices are kept in your browser's own storage and never leave your device.

Supporting draftdrill

If you support draftdrill, you pay in your own bank app or e-wallet (DuitNow) or on Ko-fi or PayPal. The site never sees the payment. A DuitNow payment shows you the recipient's registered name.

What draftdrill never does

It never sells or shares your information, never shows ads, and never builds a profile of you.

Where your data goes

Vercel, Cloudflare and Google are based outside Malaysia, so the information above may be processed abroad, under each company's own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what draftdrill holds about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to draftdrill@proton.me. You will get an answer within 21 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
